114.00 - USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS A. Buildings and structures owned by the city have been designated tobacco-free workplaces. The use of tobacco products is not permitted inside a building or structure owned or operated by the department. B. The use of tobacco products is prohibited by members while riding in or operating any vehicle owned or operated by the department. C. While tobacco products may be used outside buildings and structures in smoking areas designated by the Fire Chief, members shall properly dispose of cigarette butts and other waste products. D. Members using smokeless tobacco products shall refrain from spitting on sidewalks, parking lots and other paved surfaces, on non-paved surfaces used by other members, and in water fountains. |
