100.01 - ADMINISTRATION

I. Each work area shall have bulletin boards for posting general orders, special orders, and memos. The purpose of the bulletin boards shall be to facilitate communications. The bulletin board shall also be used for posting items of general correspondence. No item shall be posted without the approval of the Chief or their designated representative.

II. A manual containing the department's official rules and regulations and standard operating procedures shall be provided in each station and be available on line at the City of Darien web-page under the fire department page.

III. Each supervisor shall be responsible for maintaining the bulletin boards, and manuals described above.
